Access to a quality education, from preschool through higher education, is one of the most fundamental assets contributing to upward mobility. The Center’s research on this topic focuses broadly on providing families and students with the financial knowledge and means to attend college, examining the potential of incentivized child/college savings accounts at scale, and examining student loan debt and its relationship to the broader economic landscape.

We have been researching and publishing on topics related to economic mobility for over twenty years. Primarily, our research in this field focuses on K-12 education reform and student loan debt.
