JADA HARKINS ANDREWS  |  Communications Intern

Jada is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from Burlington, New Jersey. In May 2018, she will be graduating with her B.A. in broadcast journalism, as well as her B.A. in political science. In her time at UNC, Jada has written for several student-run publications and is now involved with research through the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program. Since joining the Center in January of 2017, Jada manages social media output, designs and updates the website, and contributes to the overall communications strategy.


 SAMANTHA BLUM | Graphic Design Intern

Samantha is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She’s from Hillsborough, North Carolina and she will be graduating with a B.A. in advertising in May 2018. During her time at UNC, Samantha has worked on a social media campaign team with Heelprint Communications, a student-run communications agency, and held the position of Vice President of Communications at Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. Samantha runs our communications analytics, creates graphics for the website and newsletter, and contributes to the overall communications strategy.


NINA TAN | Visual Communications Intern

Nina is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She hails from Fayetteville, NC and will be graduating with a B.S. in Public Policy in May 2019. In her time at UNC, she’s worked as the Art Chair for the Carolina Union Activities Board, as a staff columnist for UNC Siren, and a DJ at WXYC. A passionate photographer, Nina creates visual material for the Center and contributes to the overall communications strategy.
